Sophie chaudhari

Sophie Choudhary is an Indian singer and also an MTV VJ. She was born in United Kingdom.

Sophie attended the London School of Economics. She started her career by singing back up for Indian singers Shweta Shetty and Alisha Chinai. Later, she served as a VJ for a TV channel in UK. She is trained in classical Indian dance, Bharatnatyam, Kathak and street dance.

Sophie is also a singer. Her first album with the girl band Sansara was released in 1999. Her solo album Le Le Mera Dil was released in 2001. The album earned her the Best Asian Newcomer Award at the Asian Pop Awards. Her remix album Sophie & Dr. Love was released in November 2003. Her next album Baby Love was released in 2004.

Sophie started her career as a VJ after winning the MTV VJ hunt contest in 2002. She hosts the show MTV Big Picture and MTV Chillout.

Sophie is also a film actress. She started her acting career with the Hindi film Shaadi No. 1 (2005). She has acted in few Hindi films such as Pyaar Ke Side Effects (2006), I See You (2006), Heyy Babyy (2007), Aggar (2007), Speed (2007) etc.

She has won two awards, 2004 MTV Lycra Most Stylish Female in Music Award and 2005 Bollywood Award for Best Singer.
